I'd say no. But you can sit at tables next to each other. Also call ahead. Enjoy!! The food is great!!
I was there this week and there is a sign up that they will be closed but will be open till 2pm on Friday.
Home cooking. Great service. Like going home
Good take out dinner, glad they're open again
Outstanding Biscuits and gravy was amazing and as huge portion. Kids loved the bacon and pancakes.
Great food ...great service...great atmosphere! Worth the hour and a half drive to get there! Can't wait to go back!
This has been a good old southern cooking restaurant that since the day I moved here 13 years ago has been the Talk of the Town. Great place to bring your family and kids and wonderful food
BBQ pork was excellent tasted like it was cooked with BBQ sauce not just put on after. Good and hot food , people very friendly, fast service good place to grab a bite when biking around ;-)
Good food, great wait staff!
Very good service awesome food
I really had a hard time giving this rating because it is a hidden gem. This is like going to Aunt Millie's for dinner. If you are one of those entitled "I think I should get served like I'm at a NYC restaurant" STAY AWAY!!! Only considerate patient people who respect a family serving a good home cooked meal wanted.
Loved it. Great little place out in the country. Good cooking, generous portions, friendly, inexpensive and definitely worth a visit!
Very friendly staff, plentiful and good real food at reasonable prices. Outside tables.
Went for first time today good food great waitress great atmosphere We are simple laid back people so this is our kind of place Not a place for snooty pocket people Will go back
Great old school environment with authentic, friendly people. The food was great. Next time maybe we'll try those biscuits and gravy. Looked massive!
One of the best places for breakfast. Yes they are always busy and you have to go on a waiting list especially around the holidays. The food is amazing. Will definitely be going back when we can.
Small super local spot close to the river. I recommend the old fashioned burger and fries. I wouldn’t get the sloppy joe again. But I would try something else as they have a nice southern country variety menu. Cute and appropriate theme for the area.
Great food and fabulous service. We asked our Silver River pontoon boat Capt Adam (Capt Toms)for a restaurant recommendation for great food where the locals eat. He and his wife recommended The Dam Rest. So glad we listened. The Chicken Fried steak was best ever had, very tender and moist.
The food was awesome and the name is funny.
This is literally the place where everyone knows your name. The food is amazing, always served with a smile and when you walk in you feel like you're home. The menu is a down home country menu filled breakfast and lunch offerings that taste like your Mamma herself made them with all the love in her heart! Donna is our FAVORITE and feels like a part of our family! Whenever we have anyone staying with us or want to meet family for breakfast, we meet them here! If I had to pick one place to eat at for the rest of my life this would be it! Country fried steak for breakfast is my go-to and the prime rib every other Friday night is to die for. If you're in the area (of even if you aren't) make sure you take the trip to this place. You WILL NOT regret it!
So good to enjoy our lunch today, glad to see Charley& Rose, saw some old friends, & made some new ones!!❤😋
This was awesome. Rare that I found a diner I like. This i loved. Had a ham and cheese sandwich with tomatoes that was buttery, crispy, and covered with everything edge to edge. Care went into the preparation of everything on our table, and it showed. Service was impeccable as well. We will return here as often as possible. Thanks, y'all!!
Gave good review for the food, not the most polite waitress
The food here is good. I would highly recommend the sausage links. The service was spectacular our waitress Summer did an amazing job. If you're in this neck of the woods stop by and check this place out.
Great place to eat Food and service is great. Had the Fish fry, was delicious. Friends had prime rib said that it was great.
Great restaurant and great service. With the drive out there for good home cooked meals
Delicious. Patience is a virtue. Wait can be long with current situation.
I had lunch, the Jumbo Fish sandwich with slaw & fries. The fish hung out both sides of the bun. The tarter sauce was tasty & a nice compliment to the fish. The wife had a Large Salad with the fish & she was more than pleased with her meal. The service was impeccable & food was delivered quite quickly. We will be back soon.
We went for lunch Yesterday and the older lady waitress was so rude we had to leave. She wanted to take my order before I had a chance to sit down and look at a menu. She made some rude comments about having to seat another customer. We went to Gator Joes instead. The waitress there was much friendlier. We’ve been going to Dam Diner for years but will not be back.
They always cook my eggs perfect and the biscuits are as big as your head. I love their fruit toppings they offer with their waffles that are also huge. They do a great job on their steak as well for a little diner in the woods you can't beat it.
I love this place. I come here often when I am back in Florida. It's a glimpse into the past and the way it should be. I love central Florida and thiscis my favorite Damn Place! LOL
Excell r ntinevr re u eauS we r b it crFt oo do et c,
This place is awesome in the mornings. It's straight out old time, talk with your neighbor kinda diner. Don't ever change Ducks Dam Diner
Extremely good eats and a very clean restaurant The Waitresses make you feel like you just came home for breakfast I'm glad I don't live far from there but even if you don't it's well worth the drive
The name of the place quacked me up. But the food was dam good.
This place is great. Great people, great food, great prices. I took my little one in today. Super worried about her having a tantrum and disturbing the whole place. Which she DID have a tantrum but the staff were very sweet about it and the lovely couple next to us reassured us that she was fine. They even helped to occupy her until our food came. This place goes above and beyond. I highly recommend stopping in.
They make you feel like your home. Awsome food
Great place, down to earth. Food is wonderful. Staff is very gracious.
Killer breakfast and only asked for half of an order of biscuits and gravy no way to eat for order
A great out of the way diner. Good “down home” cooking, very friendly service, and the place the locals eat. It isn’t “fine dining”. It is a five star diner.
I had breakfast here this morning for the first time. I can truly say I was very happy with both the food and customer service. I will definitely be back!
Everything here is just "Ducky" from the duck decoys on display to the dinner plate-sized pancakes! Good country-style home cooking. Located east of Ocklawaha, it's a bit out of the way, but that is part of the charm. Fun, friendly place!
Great people, great service, great food, great price.
My son and I camp in the area several times a year, and Duck's Dam Diner is our go to breakfast stop on departure day. It's small and local but the food is great. Nothing fancy, just good homemade food. We'll keep coming back, even if it always means a bit of a wait.
Nice people n good food
I have been going there for 20 plus years. Never disappoints.
Small, local place. Great staff. Excellent food.
stopped in for lunch after visiting D&L Bonsai Nursery, amused by the name, we figured the food must be good. we weren’t disappointed! serving sizes were huge and the food was tasty. service was a bit slow but I don’t think that’s the usual pace, everyone was friendly and there is an overall friendly atmosphere. if Im in the area again and hungry, I’ll definitely stop in again!
Great food, great service nice little place.
Off the beaten path in Ocklawaha. It looks like someone converted a home into a diner. About 10 tables. All day breakfast. The true test of a Southern cook is his/her grits. The grits here were great. Service was excellent and the locals were friendly. Go to Duck's Dam Diner ofyou get the chance. You won't be disappointed
Had a great lunch @ the diner today with Bob.
Great food and service, always stop here for breakfast when out riding the motorcycle.
